Congratulations to Maryland’s own National Bohemian Beer, which was recently chosen by a cadre of Washington Post bloggers as the best cheap beer in the Republic.
Natty Boh was one of my go-to beers during my cash strapped college years. I got all nostalgic about it watching The Wire, so I bought a twelve pack while visiting Delmarva last summer. It tasted like furtive underage dorm room drinking, which is to say, delicious.

La Leche League says you can drink a little while breast feeding, although they don’t specifically suggest Natty Boh. Probably an oversight.
I think the taste of Natty Boh is Rheingoldian, but the logo is awesomnoblastomat.
I know I’m not the first person to wonder this, but why don’t you ever see Mr Boh, Mr Redlegs, and/or the Pringles guy in the same place?
